Big-nose UnicornfishNaso vlamingii
Recognised by its distinct long nose reaching over the mouth its body colour may vary from bluish grey to yellowish green. It has numerous small bright blue lines running mid laterally starting from the pectoral fin and ending at the caudal peduncle. Small blue spots can be found both above and below these lines and are also located on the head and face. A distinct blue bar runs across the forehead from eye to eye. Males have the ability to reveal or hide their blue markings. Commonly found solely or in pairs around coastal and coral reefs and have the tendency to hang around large drops offs and overhangs.
