Bigeye SnapperLutjanus lutjanus
The Bigeye Snapper is white to silver bodied with a distinct yellow to brown mid lateral line that starts from the snout runs through the eye and ends at the caudal peduncle. The fins are all yellow and there are small yellow lines that run diagonally on the upper half of the body and horizontally on the lower half of the body. It is found in large schools usually around offshore coral reefs. Size: 35cm (maximum) Diet: Small fishes & crustaceans |
