Big-eye Emperor

Silver bodied (darker above than below) with yellow markings around the eye and caudal fin area. Three white bars run over the fish starting from just behind the eyes and continuing down the back. Fins may appear a faint reddish orange in colour at times. They can be found along coral reefs either in large schools or swimming solitary.

Size: Length 60cm (Maximum)

Diet: Echinoderms, benthic crustaceans, zoobenthos
