Beaked Coralfish

Chelmon rostratus

Predominantly white fish with four vertical orange bands. The first one over its eye is thin, then each one after that becoming thicker. Has a black band around tail fin, and a black spot above that on its dorsal fin. Also aqua line that traces the outside of its body. Inhabits clear coastal and inner reef flats around rubbly and sandy areas that is scattered with soft and hard corals. A territorial species.

Size: Max Length 20cm

Diet: Small Crustaceans
