Banded MaoriCheilinus fasciatus
(Other names Redbreasted Maori Wrasse, Redbreast Wrasse)
Adults red to brown bodied with distinct white vertical stripes/bands along its entire body length down to the caudal fin which is evident in all stages of growth. Adults also have an orange patch just behind the eye and pectoral fin, very fin orange lines (like rays of light) can also be seen around the eye.
