Abbott's MorayGymnothorax eurostus
(Other names Gold Spotted Moray, Stout Moray)
A yellowish brown body with numerous white to yellow spots which become less dominant toward the back end. They are commonly found solitary inhabiting coastal and outer reef areas. Caution should be taken when eels are sighted, although they are considered to be normally quite placid their jaws and teeth may inflict harmful wounds if provoked or caught off guard.
