Whitsunday Islands

Boats leave from Airlie Beach the hub for exploring the Whitsudays Islands. We dived of Hook Island and bait reef. Hook Island there was lots of small reef life zooming about the corals with a few bigger fish like Barramundi Cod. 

We then headed out to bait reef and wow! We dived the drop off that is a wall that goes down to about 100m along here we saw White-tip Reef sharks and a school of Hump-headed Parrotfish, these are amazing creatures to watch and they are so big! The second dive of bait reef we explored the other side, yet again stunning the amount of life there, healthy looking corals and a few swim throughs. On the safety stop a big Humpheaded Maori Wrasse hung about with us for the duration. It toped off a perfect dive.
