Valiant - Wreck DiveNorth Sydney - NSW
The ship sank in 1981, while she being towed out to sea to be scuttled. Luckily for divers she never made it to her planned resting place far off shore, it is reported the tow ropes that were attached to the tug boat broke.
She lies in 27m of water about 1.2 km from the shore. Laying in sand she has become beacon for a very large amount of marine life. She is about 23m long and 6m wide. While diving this wreck it is possible to enter the engine room and some of the cabins. Watch you bottom time on this dive as it is a deeper one. Marine life includes Octopus, Mado and Kingfish.
