Shiprock

This shore dive can only be dived on the Slack High tide. It is listed as an Aquatic Reserve and there for the fish life and fauna is protected. Due to it's rich abundance of marine life and ease of getting there, this site is very popular with divers. Night dives here, so I am told are the best in Sydney! Max depth is around 18m+ things to watch out for are currents and boat traffic be sure to take care when ascending.

As with all shore sites we recommend you do your first dive with an shop/diver who has the local knowledge of the site. This makes for a safer dive also you will probably get to see more. Marine life here includes Pinapplefish, Porcupinefish & Hermit Crabs.
