Shark BayShark Bay - WA
Listed as a World Heritage Site, Shark Bay, unlike the name suggests is a paradise for divers. Consisting of numerous individual dive sites it is also home to many dolphins, dugongs and stromatolites (Hamelin Pool - the oldest and largest living fossils in the world!!!). Monkey Mia is one of the biggest attractions as people can get up close and personal with the bottle nose dolphins. There is diving for all levels and the maximum depth is about 25m. South Passage, Monkey Rock, Dirk Hartog Island, Dorre Island and Bernier Island are just a few of the dive sites that have been recommended as a not to miss!
