Mt Gambier

Mount Gambier is the home to Cave and Lake diving in Australia. Before you can cave dive you need to do the appropriate CDAA training as it is considered to be a very high risk sport. Although aquatic life is sparse within the caves as you see by the pictures below the scenery is spectacular! During the summer months a formation of algae occurs in the top 10 metres making visibility only 1m or below. Once you have dropped past the 10m mark the visibility opens out to 30m + and the dive really comes into its own.
