Edithburgh JettyEdithburgh - SA
This shore dive near the southern tip of Yorke Peninsula is known for its striped pajama squid and bobtail squid, which can be seen at night. With a max depth of 7 metres, the jetty is also home to anglerfish, pipefish, short-headed seahorses, nudibranches, a variety of invertebrates, octopus and cuttlefish. Access is via stairs on either side of the jetty. Beware of the lines of fisherman, who fish for squid near the end of the jetty. Divers exploring the peninsula tend to base themselves in Edithburgh because of its range of accommodation and fill station. |
