Dampier ArchipelagoDampier - WA
The Dampier Archipelago is made up of 42 scattered islands, islets and rocks and is located within a 45km radius of Dampier. There are a number of excellent dive sites, all accessible by day trips with just a short boat ride. Marine life includes Loggerhead, Green, Hawksbill and Flatback turtles, Bottle-nosed dolphins, dugongs as well as whales from July to September. Many different species of sponges and an abundance of marine life can be found amongst the many habitats that the island provides.
