Cathedral Caves

Tasman National Park - TAS

Located in Waterfall Bay, the dive site was named after the large cathedral-like shape of the large chambers. There are also several networks of smaller tunnels and passages with a max depth of 20 metres. The caves can only be dived when there is little or no swell. Kelp, sponges, soft corals and jewel anemones grow on the cave walls and ceiling. The sea caves, especially the smaller tunnels, are for experienced divers with good buoyancy control.
