Our photo/video workshops and hands-on help are included at no extra charge!
Depart from Bundaberg.

The Diving
The itinerary will have you exploring the pristine coral structures of Lady Musgrave, Fairfax and Hoskyn and nearby reefs before ending the trip with the manta rays and turtles at the spectacular Lady Elliot Island – and if conditions allow, the amazing Snake Pit.
Head to the Big Cat Reality website to read more trip details & logistics and previous Bunker trip reports.

Underwater Photo & Video Workshop
What is a photo workshop? It's a dive trip like any other (ie: eat, dive, eat, dive, eat, dive, eat, dive, sleep; then repeat)... but instead of watching DVD's during surface intervals and in the evenings, there's the option to follow our lectures on various aspects of underwater image-making. We're there to critique and work with you on your shots, offer suggestions for improvement, and generally get stuck into all aspects of underwater photo and video.
Suitable for all levels – from the seasoned shooter to the complete newbie. Five days presents a great opportunity to hone your skills, learn new skills, and spend plenty of time with like-minded divers.

What you'll learn...
• pre-dive camera prep
• advanced buoyancy skills for photographers and videographers
• full coverage of the principles: shutter speed, aperture, white balance, depth of field, histograms, n strobe/light positioning...
• how to approach shy subjects
• how to capture natural behaviour
• how to improve your composition
• macro techniques; wide-angle techniques
• how to take great shots of wrecks
• how to photograph other divers
• how to make the most of your shots: Lightroom and Photoshop basics for the photographers, and video editing help for the videographers
• includes a take-home workshop booklet with notes on all subjects covered
• AND: for those of you working towards your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you can combine this workshop with our PADI Underwater Videography or PADI Underwater Photography specialty course during the trip (additional fee applies; book in advance)
